Trip to the Midnight Sun

A trip to Scandinavia in midsummer 2012

Robert Magson, the chairman of the Carlight Owners' Club is hoping to go with his wife and Carlight caravan through Scandinavia as far as the arctic circle to join the Bluenosed Club and see the midnight sun. Please note that this trip was mentioned in the paper version of the Summer 2011 Newsletter as a trip in 2011 to the Northern Lights. The above information is the correct version and I apologise for any confusion caused.

Distance Calais-Tromso return via Copenhagen and Stockholm (no ferries) 4344 miles

Petrol £963

Tolls £207

Site fees 21 nights at say £25 per night £525

Total £1695 per car/caravan. To this must be added food, entertainment, insurance etc.
